HOLY SMOKES!!!!! I was invited today to the Dead Rat Saloon by my dear friend, Marvell, to listen and dance to the music by her friends, “Natural Bridge!” Look out!! They’re on fire and coming to lots of local venues!!!! They play an array of contemporary jazz, blues, R&B, country quartet, and lots of other great music!! Shannon’s vocals are amazing and I was captivated by her tones! Her band mates are excellent musicians…their drummer David, throws and twirls his drumsticks while playing and keeping the tempo.. unbelieveable talented drummer. Steve on guitar, shreds!!! He walks amidst the audience while playing. Mike on bass and vocals is one very talented musician!They are definitely entertainers!!! I will be following them to venues I can get to!!!I danced until I got a blister wearing my shoes, so off they went and I danced in the dirt barefooted! Yeah, their music was that good!When you’re able, get your loved ones, take a ride out to a localmusic venue, support the pubs/grills/bars/etc that support local musicians! What I find refreshing is they are very dynamic without being in your face . You can sit back and enjoy a bassist who also sings solos and harmony. Lead guitar is a superb soloist the singer will satisfy your ears without hitting you over the head They have a drummer who has played here for years .. it is all pulled together.
