  On Drums: Mike Norris

As long as he can remember, Mike has been hitting on something. From an early age, Mike used to beat on different size books in the floor using a different thickness for different tones. He started taking lessons in the 6th grade. Mike says a big part of his early development as a drummer was in the marching and concert band in high school.

"This is where I became a very rudimentally sound snare drummer and received numerous awards. I joined the jazz band in 9th grade to take what I have learned to the drum set. Since then, I have played in many different style bands, from country to blues to death metal. I feel lucky that I have played with so many talented people and look forward to playing with more. I had an early passion to play drums and still have that same passion today. "
We are glad to have Mike in the group!
